Episode 34 Summary

Happy New Year from The Wright Brothers Podcast!

In our first episode of 2016, we talk to Ash from Active Pipe about his groundbreaking new technology and its practical applications to real estate. Active Pipe is an advanced CRM plug-in delivering enterprise level marketing automation & smart data analytics to real estate agents. It tells you who to call, when to call and why. You can listen to Ash explain this more and then go check him out.

Then we get into the practice of goal setting, something that’s on everyone’s minds at this time of year.

People set goals in different ways. Some people set larger more broad goals. There are good goals to set because they lead to a greater sense of accomplishment and often you can surprise yourself with the amount and scope of what you’re able to get done, which is a huge confidence builder.

Some people like to set smaller goals. And these are also good because you can easily get into the habit of hitting your goals faster and then building on that momentum.

Whether you make large or small goals, the one thing you need to do is ensure that each goal is as specific as possible. This means you need to know whether you’ve achieved it or not. There’s no gray area, no middle ground. Either you did it, or you didn’t do it. If your goal has no clear and measurable outcome, try rephrasing it and refining it until it does.

For more on this and plenty of other tips on how to rock your goals in 2016, tune in to this week’s show.
