12 Ways to Build an Unstoppable Referral Machine

On this week’s podcast, we talk about the art of building your business through referrals.

Referrals are valuable because they allow you to scale and grow more quickly, freeing you up to spend more time with clients and give them better service. Your clients can then turn around and do a lot of your marketing for you through word of mouth.

A quick and easy way to get more referrals is to make more referrals of your own. One thing to keep in mind when we talk about referrals is trust and credibility. When you give a person a referral, you are putting your word behind that recommendation. If the referral doesn’t work out or your friend or colleague has a bad experience, they will associate you with that bad experience and your credibility with them will suffer.

We talk in-depth about this, and we cover many ways you can set yourself up to get more referrals and be ready for them when they come your way.

In the episode, we talk about:

  • how to prepare yourself for referral business and “train” people to send the right referrals your way
  • how to stand out and be remembered among a sea of agents
  • the best way to spend your time when building a referral engine
  • how to effectively manage your relationships to maximize referral potential

There are also lots of tips on how to conduct yourself on social media (and also how not to conduct yourself on social media) to be sure to tune in and then drop us a line letting us know what you think of the show.
