If you ever want to have the best day of your life, take a bunch of rescue dogs for a hike.
If you’ve ever had any interaction with a WBI employee, or visited the Hangar, you know there’s nothing we love more on this earth than dogs. So when it came time to plan our Thankful Thursday schedule for 2015, we were finally able to orchestrate an event that involved our greatest passion: snuggling dogs.
We partnered with one of our favorite foster-based rescues, The Rescued Dog, to take a whole gang of rescue pups currently in foster out for a 5 mile hike around Lake Miramar. The day was sunny and beautiful, and each dog had the biggest smile on their face (even if they decided 5 miles was too much and they needed to lay down) after the hike was over.
A huge thanks to Ashley, Theresa, and the rest of the TRD gang for helping us organize the event.
